Gwenael has over 20 years of experience in Equities and Fixed Income through different economic cycles. He has deep expertise in Special Situations Credit and Equities, Cross Asset Arbitrage, and Long/Short strategies.
Before founding Bowie, he worked in the Special Situations Group at Morgan Stanley, was a convertible bond trader at Commerzbank, and headed high yield and convertible bond sales at a boutique London brokerage.
In 2020, Arup and Gwenael co-founded Bowie Capital to explore private deal opportunities. Bowie advises Wasteless Limited on AI-led retail waste reduction and is involved in M&A transactions in the European financial brokerage sector, fund-raising in the Indian airline space, and the UK fintech sector.
