Founder & CEO

Arup Ganguly has over 30 years of experience in global banking. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in 1990, working in financial control and later helping to establish their Cayman-based trust and fund administration business.

He became a director in sales and research on the convertible bond desk in London. After 12 years at Goldman Sachs, Arup founded a successful boutique investment advisory firm in London, specialising in fixed-income sales, origination, and debt restructuring, and leading its Indian convertible bonds business.

In 2017, Arup retired to focus on new ventures. He became an active investor and advisor in the tech sector, leading the angel investment round for Anuva Bio, a leading Indian genomic data provider, and investing early in Intelligent Energy, a hydrogen fuel cell manufacturer.

Arup contributes to the Times of India and other journals like Economic Times and Outlook India. He has served on several charitable boards, including GEM schools, Best Schools Prize, and Sewa Day.

In 2020, Arup and Gwenael co-founded Bowie Capital to explore private deal opportunities.
